This double-ended subgingival curette is used to remove plaque and calculus from the tooth's root surface below the gum. It also includes a rounded tip to minimise damage to the gingiva.

This Mini Five curette is ideal for calculus and plaque removal in narrow pockets, both supra- (above) and subgingivally (below the gum). The fineness of the instrument is well suited for use in cats and small dogs.

The tartar forceps feature a curved beak to allow for the easy removal of heavy calculus from the tooth surface before scaling the teeth.
