Periosteal

The periosteal elevator is used to lift a muco-periosteal flap off the bone when performing surgical extractions. The fine round, dished double-ended 2/4 (4/6 mm) periosteal elevator is suitable for cats and dogs.

This product features a curved blade measuring 4 mm in width with a rounded tip, paired with a flat blade that measures 4 mm in width and also has a rounded tip.

The rounded edge of the Molt 9 periosteal elevator minimise the tearing of tissue when lifting the gum flap. The sharp end makes the initial lifting of the flap easier. Suitable for medium to large dogs.
