Description
The ultrasonic energy for implantation of the BoneWelding® product range is provided by the BoneWelder® Vet ultrasound generator and applied via the attached handpiece.
The thermal impact on the bone is minimal. The short ultrasonic impulse and the localized melting of the polymer do not disturb bone healing or osseointegration. Temperatures measured at the interface between bone and polymer rise by less than 10 °C and only for a few seconds.

- Wrench: Allows you to mount the sonotrode properly on the handpiece
The BoneWelder® Vet is the heart of the BoneWelding® system. This small, user-friendly machine provides the energy to power the ultrasonic handpiece. Two handpiece plug-in option allows for dual user capabilities.
The handpiece to the BoneWelder® Vet is lightweight and ergonomically designed for comfort in handling. One-button technology allows for ease in use for transferring the ultrasonic power to the implant.
The wrench allows you to mount the sonotrode properly on the handpiece making sure the connection is tight for an appropriate transfer of the ultrasonic energy into the implant. Fits to every sonotrode.

The BoneWelder® Vet system may only be used by competent medical staff who, due to their specialized training, experience and knowledge of the relevant regulations, have the necessary qualification for using the system correctly. Users must have adequate knowledge of the rules of medical practice, as well as the state of the art and the contents of pertinent scientific articles published by medical authors. The user must be thoroughly familiar with the surgical technique as well as with the set of implants and the instruments and accessories used. The user bears the responsibility for • the proper performance of the surgical procedure • selecting the right implant components and implanting them properly • avoiding or minimizing the general risks posed by surgical interventions

Contraindications
Applies to all products
- Load bearing indications
- Quantitatively and/or qualitatively inadequate bone tissue.
- Local active or latent soft tissue and/or skin infection.
- Local inflammation of any origin at the repair site.
- Inadequate blood supply to bone and soft tissue.
- Bad general state of health/metabolic disorders.
- Known allergies and/or reactions to synthetic materials/bioabsorbable materials.
